This International Women's Day, we invite you to join us for a unique celebration of women in coffee. On Friday, March 7th, our espresso bar will host a special coffee cupping event featuring exceptional coffees produced by women growers and women-led cooperatives from around the world.

Cost: $15 per person (includes cupping experience and a 100g bag of our specialty coffee blend - South Central)

What to Expect
Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply curious about the world of specialty coffee, this event welcomes all. Never participated in a coffee cupping before? No worries. Our friendly team will guide you through the process, teaching you how to:

• Properly smell the coffee grounds to identify aromas
• Observe the blooming process when hot water is added
  
• Break the crust and take in the released aromatics
  
• Taste different flavour notes using professional cupping techniques
  
• Appreciate the unique characteristics of each coffee

Coffee production has traditionally been viewed as male-dominated, but women have always been integral to the industry. From seed to cup, women contribute at every stage:

• Each coffee featured in our cupping event tells the story of remarkable women who have overcome challenges to produce exceptional beans. By highlighting their work, we honour their contributions and support greater gender equity in the coffee supply chain.
